The unit mainly focused on Academic standards which emphasized the principles and expectations that guide the quality and integrity of an academic work. This unit covered the following key topics:
2.Academic skills for LSRW (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
3.Academic integrity
4.Academic integrity at the RUB
5.Ethical use of AI
First of all, it was a really hard time for me to cope up with this module as it was a whole new thing for me. Using mobile phone in the classroom was a different level of joy as we all were using textbooks and notebooks as our study materials till now. A mixture of emotions was growing up.
However, learning this unit was an enlightening experience for me that has deepened my understanding of the essential skills and ethical considerations that are necessary for academic success. This unit equipped me with important knowledge and skills for my academic journey. The insights gained about academic integrity, the importance of effective communication skills, and the ethical use of AI will undoubtedly influence how I approach my studies moving forward. After completing this Unit, I now feel more confident in my ability to uphold academic standards and contribute positively to the academic learnings.
As I reflect on the lessons learned, I am encouraged to use these principles and skills in my assignments and interactions with my mates. I look forward to further developing my skills and understanding as I continue my educational journey, ensuring that I not only meet academic standards but also contribute to a culture of integrity and respect within academic works.
